you could change to a DNS server with low latency and can save anywhere from 100ms to 500ms in delays while loading any webpage. This would mean that your browsing experience will be quite quick as pages start loading quickly.
You should always use the one with lower latency, it may differ. Here are some known DNS Service Providers.
By default, most home routers would give their own IP address for DNS Server and it will act as a DNS proxy. Most low to mid-range routers do not have sufficient processing power and thus such routers can easily add ~100ms delay on their own even for responses it has cached in their memory. So, if you switch your DNS server, you can save delays added by the router’s DNS proxy too.
I use kinda combined DNS like 9.9.9.9 & 1.1.1.1
I personally use Cludflare DNS, It performs really faster than others and also has a low response Time. I also make use of IPV6 DNS along with IPV4 DNS.
There is nothing such as the fastest DNS, it will vary from location to location and by that, I do not talk about country or region, it can even vary from city to city, from ISP to ISP.
You can always use the one with lower latency.
These all DNS works fine for me.
Also remember it is possible to use multiple DNS servers to accelerate what comes to your DNS server (in your router and/or in your machines). When you then send a request, it will look at the nearest server first, and if what you want isn’t there it will, in turn, send a search request to the next up, and so on.
I use 9.9.9.9 & 8.8.8.8 as my DNS Servers.
How about using the ones that are provided by internet service providers?
If you care at all about privacy online, using your ISP’s DNS server is a massive problem. Every request sent can be logged and tells your ISP which websites you browse, down to the hostnames and subdomains.
Also, It Makes your Internet browsing Experience Faster.
